Both teams played cat and mouse as Michele Gumabao and Ces Robles traded kills that sent the match to 14-all.

Rookie Peñafiel showed bravery over Gumabao and blocked her shot to give Chery Tiggo the match point advantage, 15-14.

Gumabao quickly made up for her mistake and orchestrated a crosscourt attack that tied the match at 15-all.
